How long was the recently retired ED in that position? Will she be involved in the search process? Will she be available to talk with the search facilitator? The retired Executive Director held the position for 16 years. She will not be involved in the search process. She will not be available to talk with the search facilitator.

Will the Executive Search Committee be authorized to hire the new ED, or will the full Board need to interview the final candidates and make a decision? The Executive Search Committee will present final candidate or candidates to full Board to make the decision.

Does the Board anticipate that there will be an internal candidate for the position? Yes

Does the PLB have a projected time when they would like to have hired their next ED? If so, what is it? The Board would like to have the new Executive Director hired before July 1, 2016

Is there a minimum amount of experience required for this assignment? Is the search for an Executive Director anticipated to be national or local in scope? Will there be a relocation package for the chosen candidate who resides outside of the St. Louis area? What is the anticipated total remuneration for the Executive Director? There are is no minimum amount of experience identified for the consultant although the level of experience will be considered as part of the review process. The proposal identifies that a consultant will assist the Board in reviewing the Executive Director job description and compensation package as well as potentially assist in a local/regional search.
