Automated Clearing House (ACH)

PLB uses a third party application to “directly deposit” funds into the accounts of agencies. Business management software will integrate with this module.

The process for submission of records to the financial institution is as follows:

• Payments selected for payment by staff

• Staff submits program which

a. Opens a link between AS/400 and computer in network

b. Moves data from AS/400 to computer

c. Links closes between AS/400 and computer

• Staff submits program to transfer funds to ACH for direct deposit into agency accounts
