Jennifer began working for The Productive Living Board in October 2009 as a Program Specialist, a role she continues today. She began her career in the field of developmental disabilities in 1988, which shaped her beliefs for possibilities for people with disabilities. She has worked in residential, community and employment settings in management, training, program development and implementation, administration and quality guidance. Her previous experiences gave her the opportunity to put her philosophy into action serving in an advisor role, guiding direct support staff, associates, directors and leadership to promote inclusive practices.

She is most proud of her work with the PLB funded Pre-Employment programs; initiating the annual collection and analysis of data, providing quantitative results which show the success of Pre-Employment models in meeting employment outcomes. She assisted with the redesign of PLB's Quality Enhancement/Service Excellence System.

Jennifer graduated from Southeast Missouri State University and furthered her education at University of Missouri St. Louis, obtaining a Graduate Certificate in Public Policy, Nonprofit Management and Leadership.
