view	9/3/2010 12:31:28 PM	Although we understand that the Missouri Department of Labor, through 8 CSR 30-6.010, has allowed for the reduction of minimum wage based on physical or mental disabilities, we believe the continued implementation of such a practice would further segregate teens with developmental disabilities from their peers. Review of the state regulation authorizing such action finds that the regulation is not based upon student learner status, rather an individual’s physical or mental disability. In that light, would you consider SWEP proposals that do not include a reduced wage as outlined in several areas of the scope of work section?
