A nonprofit organization serving individuals with developmental disabilities in St. Louis City, St. Louis County and St. Charles County who are at risk to become or who are involved with the criminal justice system.

DIRECT CLIENT ASSISTANCE

Options for Justice provides liaison support for eligible clients in the development of a treatment plan consistent with the person’s needs, rights and responsibilities.

Services are available to individuals 17 years of age and older, and to juveniles under 17 if they are certified to stand trial as adults. Information and referral provides needed information or referral to appropriate resources.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Options for Justice provides information for criminal justice and social service professionals to enhance the awareness and understanding of the rights and responsibilities of person’s with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities who are at risk to become or who are involved in the criminal justice system.
